Unbelievable Gospel by Jonathan Dodson

Unbelievable Gospel by Jonathan Dodson

One of my favorite new authors, Jonathan Dodson, recently released a new book entitled Unbelievable Gospel. Besides having a great first name, he is a fantastic writer. His first book, Gospel-Centered Discipleship, was one of my favorites from 2012. When I read the introduction to Unbelievable Gospel, I was hooked. It’s a short book (only 80 pages) and cheap as well (you can get it on Amazon for just $8) and I highly recommend it. Anyway, here is the intro. When you finish reading this, go buy the book and put some food on his table.

Grace, Grace. God’s Grace.

Grace, Grace. God’s Grace.

This year at CrossPoint, Ryan has been preaching through Galatians using Grace as the central theme. Not surprisingly, I’ve been seeing and hearing the word “grace” all over—in books, in other sermons, etc. Being the absolute nerd I am, I’ve...

John 3:16 Misunderstood

Timmy Brister posted this earlier today, and it’s one of the best explanations of John 3:16 I’ve ever heard. The key line in here is “Remember that the Bible wasn’t written in English.” This verse is one of many that have caused some...

The Story of Scripture

On this week’s episode of The Exchange, Philip Nation interviewed Trevin Wax and George Guthrie about the topic of “The Story of Scripture.” At the end of the show, Trevin and Dr. Guthrie listed about a dozen different resources the help drive home...
