John 3:16 Misunderstood

Timmy Brister posted this earlier today, and it’s one of the best explanations of John 3:16 I’ve ever heard. The key line in here is “Remember that the Bible wasn’t written in English.” This verse is one of many that have caused some serious “lost in translation” moments over the year.

For what it’s worth, the HCSB translation is the closest to what he discusses here.
