When I worked in the athletic departments at Southern Miss and McNeese State, this was always a bittersweet time of year. Assistant coaches came. Assistant coaches went. Many friends moved away and many new friends were made.
As bittersweet as it was, we all still enjoyed watching the head coaching carousel take shape. The domino effect was always interesting to watch because—like this year—some coaches would leave for a better school, and it would open up other jobs.
So instead of the whiteboard I used to keep up with all the changes, I’m using the blog this year instead. This list will be updated as changes happen.
