Saturday was an important day. Not just because it was the second weekend of the college football season, but because it was the third anniversary of one of the greatest losses ever in college football.

More about that later…but first, my day started with some futbol before the football. And with goals like this, how can you blame me?

Liverpool lost anyway (Yay!), but that meant Manchester United won (Boo!). Back to our regularly scheduled programming, and some serious trolling on GameDay.

That’s right Oregon, you and your bedazzled helmets have no titles and you also lost Saturday. The aforementioned bedazzled helmets:

First up Saturday was Jacksonville State vs. Auburn where the story of the day was the scoreboard…

The problem was that Auburn wasn’t using it very much…

And there were plenty of Gamecock fans around the nation…

Auburn pulled it out eventually, but with a trip to LSU looming, new DC Will Muschamp be like…

Elsewhere, my alma mater notched a big win over Austin Peay. Which if this ballboy’s name was Austin, I bet that’s what he just did…

And apparently Penn State got Jared Lorenzen some more eligibility to come kick for them…

And a Notre Dame, they memorialized Lennay, had a nifty fake FG, and pulled out a win…

If you stuck with that last video to the end, you see the 2015 college football version of “March Madness piccolo girl”…

And become internet famous, he did…

We finish in the SEC, because that’s where real football is played…except for this kick from Georgia.

And this from Florida, where they not only block one another, but they tackle one another as well…

It was a fun day in college football, though. Even LSU pulled out a road win, which had me all like…

See you next week!
