One of my favorite bands of the past couple of years has been The Avett Brothers. I have had their Live, Volume 3 album in the CD player of my car for about 20 months now. It just doesn’t get old. They are quite possibly the best mix of rock, country, and bluegrass that I’ve ever heard. And I’ve yet to meet anyone who hasn’t liked them once they’ve heard them. They really are that good.
So it pleases me immensely that they have released their new album, The Carpenter, today. They were on Kimmel last night and performed a pair of songs from the album. Just phenomenal music, artistry, and showmanship. Get their music. You will not be disappointed.
