Reason #5 – To Show the Wealth of God’s Love and Grace for Sinners

We are worse off than frogs. They have not sinned. They have not rebelled and treated God with the contempt of being inconsequential in their lives. God did not have to die for frogs. They aren’t bad enough. We are.

Wow. What a statement here by Piper. Frogs have no record of sin against them. We do.

I’m immediately reminded of John 1:14. And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us…

He dwelt among us.

To die for us.

While we were still sinners.

That’s grace. That’s love.
