Social media is here to stay, and some churches have done well as early adopters of Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. But many churches are still either hesitant to use social media or are using it poorly and not seeing any positive results.
As the pervasiveness of social media grows, it would be unwise to continue to ignore your church’s social media strategy and presence. And like any other ministry in the church, social media needs planning (a strategy), people (someone in charge), and a purpose (measurable goals) to be effective. These seven keys will help your church engage both members and guests on social media.

In my view, the greatest need of church leaders is human communication. The lack of skills shown by most leaders is hurting the leaders because it leads to a lack of accomplishing their mission objectives, innovations, needed changes, etc. it is one of the main reasons pastors burn out and leaving a church or the ministry.
Characteristic #6 of 6 possessed by high performance teams (use synonymous term if you like) consistently achieving exceptional results: Excellent Communication–a characteristic that helps maintain #5, Solid Relationships. We cannot overcommunicate; this action is necessary for integration, motivation, adaptation, and goal achievement of all groups of any size (i.e., the four main problems purposeful people-groups everywhere–congregations included!–must address well daily in order to see brighter tomorrows).
